Ranked 12th for Fashion & Textiles courses by The Guardian in 2023

Our BA and MA textiles degrees are highly specialised and allow you to explore both traditional and cutting-edge practices and technologies in the field of design and making.

With the help of our experienced academics, and access to the very best in making facilities, you'll be given the freedom and tools to immerse yourself in your craft.

Along the way, you'll build your network and benefit from our numerous industry connections as you attend guest lectures, respond to live industry briefs and undertake work placements.

By the time you graduate, you'll have the skills and confidence to pursue your own path - whether that means going it alone as a designer-maker, passing on your knowledge as a technician, artist-in-residence or museum curator, or working for employers in a broad range of industries, from film to fashion.

Our textiles courses run from our School of Fashion and Textiles at UCA Epsom. We are taking big steps towards upgrading our professional fashion and textiles facilities - with an investment of £15m envisaged between now and 2023. Our plans see new purpose built spaces being constructed alongside remodelled spaces. We anticipate this will all be ready for the start of the 2023-2024 academic year.
