AtelierUCA:
Kings Hill x Yinka Ilori
AtelierUCA is a collective of students and alumni from the University for the Creative Arts, collaborating on an exciting Public Art commission at Kings Hill, Kent, with artist and designer Yinka Ilori (MBE), Turner Contemporary, and shaped by Futurecity.
With specialisms ranging from Fashion, Fine Art and Photography to Architecture and Graphic Design, AtelierUCA members share a thirst to engage with the Contemporary Arts community and learn from practising artists.
Throughout Yinka Ilori’s artist residency at Kings Hill, AtelierUCA will be documenting the unfolding project, engaging the local community through workshops and events, and assisting in the development of exhibitions and publications.
This partnership and experience of contributing to a live public art commission is an exceptional opportunity for our students and grads.
We’re hugely grateful to Kings Hill development partners Liberty Property Trust and Kent County Council for their support and to Futurecity, whose CEO Mark Davy is a UCA alum and former UCA member of staff, for bringing this cultural partnership together.
