Application information
Academic requirements:
For our International Foundation in Art, Design and Media, we usually require that you have:
- Higher Secondary Education Certificate (until 2017) with 50%, or
- School Leaving Certificate Examination Grade 12 (from 2018) with CGPA 2.0/4.
For our Bachelor's courses, we usually require that you have one of the following:
- Higher Secondary Education Certificate (until 2017) with 65% or
- School Leaving Certificate Examination Grade 12 (from 2018) with CGPA 2.6/4, or
- Complete UCA international foundation year or equivalent or a recognised International Foundation course from a UK institution following a validated UK syllabus, or
- Successful completion of year 1 Bachelor’s degree from a recognised inst with at least 55%.
For our Master's courses, we usually require that you have one of the following:
- Successful completion of Bachelor degree (minimum 3 or 4years) from a Nepal recognised university with 60%.
- For MArch: a successful completion of Bachelor degree (minimum 3 or 4years) from a Nepal recognised university with a grade of 65% or above.
English Language requirements:
- Satisfactory IELTS scores are required, or other UCA approved English test. Please check here for the scores required for your course.
- For degree entry, Higher Secondary Education Certificate (until 2017) with 65% in English component, or School Leaving Certificate Examination Grade 12 (from 2018) with GPA 2.6/4 in English component.

UCA Creative Development Scholarships The UCA Creative Development Scholarship is available to applicants for all full-time degree courses, including PhDs, who are nationals and residents of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia, Iran, Nigeria, Ghana, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, Pakistan,Kazakhstan, Russia or Iraq. The scholarship will automatically be awarded to applicants if they meet the eligibility criteria. The scholarship will be applied as a £3,000 tuition fee reduction for the first year of studies only.
An additional 4% discount (applied post scholarship) is offered to students who pay their full tuition fees before the end of the enrolment period.

Terms and conditions
Eligibility
- Applicable for 2022-23 entry.
- The scholarship cannot be combined with any other UCA scholarship.
- Successful applicants will be expected to get involved in promotional activities.
- There are a limited number of each scholarship available and they are awarded on a first come first serve basis so long as you meet the eligibility criteria and you have been nominated by an academic.
How to apply
The early-bird scholarship will be automatically awarded if you meet all the eligibility criteria.
For all other scholarships if you are not nominated by an academic member of staff at your interview you can apply directly using the International Scholarship Application Form.
Once you have submitted your application you will receive an automated email confirming your form submission.
