Make your Mark

UCA is participating in an Art Community Project, an artwork commission to be installed in Riverside Walk off Longbridge in Farnham in 2023. This is led by Farnham Town council in collaboration with UCA, the Maltings and Farnham Public Art Trust.  

Part of the project is a series of drop-in texture metal workshop during October Farnham Craft Town month. People will have the opportunity to hammer the metal sheets which will be used to create the public art installation.

Farnham Maltings - Saturday 1st October 10am – 3pm - Monthly Market

UCA (W612) - Saturday 8th 10am-4pm – general public

UCA (W612) - Saturday 22nd 10am-4pm – general public

We have two additional dates for UCA students and staff to participate on Friday 7thand Wednesday 19th October.

Additional information:

  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Please wear closed toe shoes
  • The workshop can get hot, please consider appropriate clothing for this
  • There is a water cooler in the workshop
  • Toilets available
  • Open to all ages

Please include a note on your booking if you require any access requirements. Due to the noisy nature of the process, please inform us of any noise sensitivity issues as ear defenders can be provided.
