What do
we do?

Wherever you are on your creative journey we’re here to help you take the next step.

Our mission is to prepare and develop you for future employment, further study and to build a sustainable creative life. We’ll be here throughout your studies, offering support, workshops, competitions and events to support your professional journey.

You’ll work alongside practising artists and industry leaders when you study with us, and our Careers Advisors will help you to set out on a career that is just right for you. Our Advisors will share their in-depth knowledge and experience of the creative sectors, they'll show you how to make the most of your industry contacts and they'll be there for you when you take that leap into industry.

And even after you’ve graduated you can still access our online resources, live events, and bookable one-to-one sessions to help you plan your next move.

Our dedicated one-to-one appointments are with experienced Careers Advisors. Students can book a session to find out more about further study, working abroad and how to kickstart a job search.

To book an appointment please sign up on our Creative Futures platform (use your personal email to ensure you can access the portal after graduating) and click on the appointments tab.

We work closely with course teams to deliver workshops, lectures, placements and seminars as part of your course.

Featuring sessions with industry experts and panel discussions with Graduates who have made a name in their chosen creative fields, our careers events provide in-depth understanding of the creative industries.

Head to the UCA Creative Futures platform to browse the latest events.

Our Creative Futures careers platform is where our students find out about work experience positions, paid job vacancies, and information about working in the creative sector.
