Anthony Woodward Is an Immersive Practitioner, researching Networked Live-Performance for Immersive Virtual Environments.
Bio
Anthony got his MSc in Creative Technologies from the De Montfort University Institute of Creative Technologies, and is now following up by researching for a PhD in Creative Arts.
Before enrolling at UCA, he practiced as a Creative Technologist under TwinPlanets, building VR, medical AR, educational, performance, and web projects and experiences, and is currently developing a live digital performance entitled "Echo".
Research statement
Anthony’s research is practice-led, focusing on the iterative development of prototypes related to XR platforms and experiences, involving volumetrically captured, performance captured, or alternate experiences. XR design, Unity Development, Point-cloud Compression, Games Networking, XR Development, Participatory and Interactive Art.
Research supervision
My research is supervised by Dr Sophy Smith and Dr Adila Nordin.
