Lecturer and Year 3 Lead in Fashion Image and Styling
Alice is lecturer and year 3 lead on the BA (Hons) Fashion Image and Styling course at UCA and co-module lead for Fashion on the BA Photography at LCC. She also teaches the Sustainable Fashion and Conceptual Styling short courses at Central St Martins and guest lecturers on sustainability at UAL.
Bio
Alice Wilby is a lecturer, activist, and creative consultant, who has been working in sustainable fashion since 2009. Alice co-founded sustainable style agency, Novel Beings, with Khandiz Joni. The world’s first sustainable style agency, clients include The Times Magazine, The BBC, Hunger, Ogilvy, Harpers and Oxfam.
Together, the creative duo produced and art directed global photographic campaigns for award-winning, fashion activist charity, Fashion Revolution, and launched award-winning sustainable consultancy, A Novel Approach. As a fashion and environmental activist, Alice is regularly a panellist on platforms including Stockholm Fashion Week and Show Studio. She co-founded Fashion Act Now and worked with Extinction Rebellion as a spokesperson and coordinator for their Fashion Action groups.
