Please note some of the activities offered by UCA are funded through the University’s involvement in the KaMCOP UniConnect programme and therefore must be attended by a high number of target learners. When booking or requesting an activity, we may get in touch to discuss the number of KaMCOP ward learners within the proposed group, where this is the case, numbers need to be agreed in advance in order to book an activity.

If you’re unsure whether your students are eligible to take part in any of the activities offered as part of UCA’s outreach offer, please get in touch and we will be happy to support you and answer any questions.

All information, activities and opportunities subject to change and availability, some activities may require a high number of target learners to be able to run.

For our student sign-up events (including Holiday Clubs, Masterclasses, Saturday Clubs, Easter Schools and Summer Schools) delivered through our KaMCOP & KMPF Outreach offer, the following eligibility criteria applies:

  • Priority spaces are given to students living in KaMCOP target wards (determined by your home postcode), or attending a KaMCOP/KMPF Partner school/college (see lists above).
  • Any remaining spaces are allocated in line with the below criteria:

    1. Students who share one or more of the following particular characteristics where data shows gaps in equality of opportunity in relation to access, success or progression (as identified by the Office for Students):

    - students from areas of low higher education participation, low household income or low socioeconomic status
    - some black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) students
    - mature students
