Sallyanne joined UCA in 2002 as a senior lecturer on the Graphic Design course. Previously she taught BA (Hons) students at Croydon College, after working in the industry as a graphic designer and studio manager for 10 years.

Sallyanne graduated with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Coventry University and gained her PGCE while at Croydon College. She achieved her MA Art & Design in Education at the Institution of Education (2008) while teaching at UCA.

Sallyanne teaches across all four years of the BA Graphic Design course and she is currently work placement tutor, which allows her to help students navigate between education and industry, an area of particular interest for her. She is also part of the Creative Arts Education team working on the UCA PGC course, and supports staff applications to the Higher Education Academy.
