Senior Lecturer In Digital Animation, UCA Farnham

Research Team, School of Film Media and Performing Arts

After a stint in the video games industry, Jon joined Farnham UCA establishing himself as part of the Animation team. He now leads and teaches across all of the Digital units on the Farnham Animation course.

Jon is also an active freelance 3D artist and has worked on a range of projects from commercials to music videos for clients including Virgin, Warner Brothers, Ryan air and the FX channel. His latest film project that he co-directed was a film adaptation of the award winning children’s book the Fearsome Beastie.
Jon is a graduate in computer animation from Cumbria Institute of the Arts. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has completed and graduated from a Postgraduate course in Teaching in the Creative Arts for Higher Education. He Completed his Master’s degree in Animation at the University for the Creative Arts in 2014

Jon also guest lecturers across other programmes including the BA (Hons) Digital Film Screen Arts at UCA and the BA (Hons) Animation course at the University of East London.
