Charles Lambert lectures on our Film and TV degree courses at UCA Farnham. Charles has worked as a journalist for more than 20 years, mainly for the BBC and ITV.

Charles joined UCA in 2014, having previously been course leader for Sports Journalism at the University of East London, where he worked on several projects relating to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

He worked as a broadcast journalist for 20 years for both BBC and ITV, working on programmes such as the BBC Six O'Clock News, BBC Breakfast, ITN News at Ten and BBC Radio Five Live's Up All Night. He was part of a team that made a documentary on hostage-taking for Sky One. While working as a journalist, he taught as a guest lecturer at Southampton Solent University and the University for the Arts, London.

He graduated in 1990 from Oxford University with a degree in Modern History and has a postgraduate qualification from Cardiff University in Broadcast Journalism.
