The Herbert Read Gallery is right at the heart of UCA’s Canterbury campus.

The gallery showcases the work of visiting artists, the university’s research outcomes, and student work, with a focus on fine art. In addition to this the gallery hosts an annual curatorial programme.

The final part of this years curatorial programme is QUEERCALL an LGBTQIA+ festival of art & performance. Taking place as part of the New Queers on the Block artist development programme led by Marlborough Productions, this year's festival, QUEERCALL, is produced by Ash McNaughton & Bean (UCA Kent Galleries) and will feature live art & theatre performances, site specific performance, exhibitions & community events across the Creative Quarter, including Brewery Tap UCA Project Space. Full programme TBA via Instagram @queercall
