Queercall Festival Artist Talk Image

As a prelude to the QUEERCALL festival taking place in March, we will be hosting a series of informal artist talks in the gallery. Bring your lunch and hear some insight into the artists research & practice.

Symoné Forever: Is an interdisciplinary movement and live artist, who’s work explores circus and body architecture. Symoné's practice integrates queerness, the human psyche, nature, voyeurism, and playing with the male/female/human gaze. This is a chance to hear about Symoné's practice and current project ‘A dream within a Dream’, a sound, movement & light installation piece, using an interactive narrative structure to guide audiences through experience about dreaming. Fusing circus, video games, interactive technology and theatre and created in collaboration with Sammy Metcalfe (Sleepwalk Collective).
