Step 1: Receive your offer
You can view your offer on the UCA Applicant Portal and UCAS if you applied through them. We will also email you confirmation of your offer.
-
Step 2: Accept your offer
If you applied directly to us, you can email us at internationaladmission@uca.ac.uk to accept your offer. If you applied through UCAS you will need to send your acceptance to them.
-
Step 3: Apply for UCA Accommodation
We have at each of our campuses, but places are limited so you need to firmly accept your offer before you can make an accommodation application. After you accept your offer, you can apply for accommodation on the UCA Applicant Portal.
-
Step 4: Meet the conditions of your offer
If your offer has conditions, please email us at internationaladmissions@uca.ac.uk with scanned copies of your relevant certificates and transcripts as soon as they are available. You do not need to post paper copies. If you need to increase your IELTS score and require a Pre-sessional English course, please email us at internationaladmission@uca.ac.uk with a copy of your current IELTS certificate and we can confirm if you are eligible.
-
Step 5: Pay your tuition fee deposit
This deposit is £2500 and is a partial payment of your tuition fees. This is only required if you need to apply for a Tier 4 (general) student visa. You can pay your fees by bank transfer, WeChat, UnionPay, Alipay or Tenpay using our secure bank transfer portal, which allows you to pay in your local currency with a favourable exchange rate compared to most banks and no transaction charges or by credit or debit card using our online payment system.
-
Step 6: Provide us with documents for your CAS
The information we’ll ask you for will include information about any previous UK study and may include copies of the financial statements you intend to submit with your visa application. Take a look at our page for more information on the visa application process.
-
Step 7: Receive your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
When we have received all the information we require, we will email you your CAS number. This is proof to UKVI that you have been accepted onto your course, and you will use this CAS number to apply for your Tier 4 (general) student visa.

Step 8: Prepare for arrival
