We know that Clearing can be a manic, stressful time for both students and staff, and we want to ensure we provide as much guidance as possible to help smooth the process for students and get them a place at university on the course they want to study.
If you’re a teacher or careers adviser, here are some FAQs which might help you assist your students. If you’ve got an enquiry which isn’t covered here, just fill out the form at the end of the page and we’ll do our best to help.
For all enquiries, contact us on 0800 068 0088 (lines are open from 9am - 5pm).
Yes – we’ll offer a place as long as students meet the entry requirements and there are spaces on the course they apply to. Once the verbal offer is made, we’ll follow up a few hours later with the official written offer via email, which they will need to accept as soon as they can.
Unfortunately, in line with the current government advice surrounding Coronavirus, our campuses are currently closed. No Open Days will be taking place until 2021, and we may not be able to host private visits.
In the meantime, we have launched a virtual open day page to help student get a feel for our campuses.
Space in our halls is limited, and unfortunately all rooms will have been allocated by the time Clearing opens. However, there are many options for shared student housing in the towns and cities our campuses are based in, and lots of first-year students rent privately (whether they applied through Clearing or not). Our accommodation team can help students with finding a place to live - take a look at our accommodation webpages to find out more.
We do – take a look at our Clearing advice for parents page.
