Alert service

We have a text alert service which UCA students and staff can subscribe to. This will help you to stay up-to-date on the status of your campus in times of severe weather.

To subscribe, all you need to do is to text the relevant campus identity to the number 60060. Once you've sent your text, you'll receive a text message back to confirm your subscription.

Key information

If any of our campuses are affected by severe weather or a major incident over the winter months, it may be necessary for us to close the sites for the safety of our students, staff and visitors. Please check this page before setting off on your journey to any of our campuses in the coming months, to ensure your visit won’t be jeopardised.

If severe snow affects any of our campuses this winter, we may have to close them – for the safety of our students, staff and visitors. We want to ensure you have a safe journey and enjoyable visit to UCA, so please don’t attempt to travel in unsafe weather. Major incident

In the unlikely event that a major disruptive incident occurs at any of our campuses – such as a fire, flood or other safety risk – we’ll have to close that campus to protect our students, staff and visitors.
