Fred Wyver graduated from the Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery design course at Rochester UCA in 2007. He has been making work in precious metals for over ten years, and returned in 2014 to deliver technical assistance on his old course.
Bio
Alongside his work in jewellery and metalwork he has experience in the fields of graphic design, fine printmaking, book binding and model making. Before returning to teach he completed an MA in Graphic Design.
His practice currently takes a multidisciplinary approach to traditional metalwork and associated crafts with a view to exploring social aspects of violence, conflict, narrative and personal identity.
He also writes science fiction and plays board games.
