Creative Wellbeing Club (Years 7 - 9)
This online Creative Wellbeing Club, delivered over four Saturday mornings by Creative Workshop Tutor, Zo Defferary, will give participants the opportunity to learn new creative techniques and promote mindfulness.
During this programme, students will be encouraged to get in touch creatively with their thoughts and feelings. Each week, we will focus on the Five Ways to Wellbeing. Students will create pieces of artwork, using different creative mediums. This will help them to focus on positive wellbeing and what they do that makes them feel happy, drawing from their experiences of lockdown. The result will be a Me’zine totally unique to them.
All materials are provided prior to the workshop, but will involve collecting scrap materials around the house, such as leaflets, magazines, etc.
- You must be aged 11 - 14 to participate in this workshop, with priority given to students from a HEON Partner school. Please refer to our entry criteria.
- This workshop will take place via an online platform therefore participants must have internet access.
