Phil Rowland is a lecturer across both the BA (Hons) Fashion Management & Marketing and BA (Hons) Fashion courses. His international experience has included design consultancy for Samsung Corporation, developing license collections for Yves St Laurent, DKNY and advising on global fashion trends.

Phil joined UCA in 2007 and is Senior Lecturer across both Fashion Management & Marketing and Fashion BA (Hons) degree courses. He has a degree in Fashion Design and Textiles from Nottingham Trent University.
After graduating he was employed by Daniel Hechter in Paris, New York and Hong Kong, He has worked in the UK on trend analysis for London based Design Intelligence and a diverse range of fashion company’s including Best Direction, Coats Viyella and Marks & Spencer.

International experience has included design consultancy for Samsung Corporation based in South Korea, developing license collections for Yves St Laurent, DKNY and advising on global fashion trends

Responsibilities at UCA Epsom, include working with third year students to research, develop and present their final major project work.
