Charlotte works at UCA on a part-time basis as a Digital Media lecturer, offering an up-to-date account of what is happening within this fast developing and ever-changing area of the fashion industry.

Charlotte studied Fashion Media & Promotion at UCA Rochester in 2009 and graduated with 1st Class Honours. After graduating Charlotte went straight into the industry, and lists Ted Baker, Lulu Guinness, Topshop, Paul Smith and Ben Sherman amongst the companies she has worked for.

Within these companies, Charlotte worked within the digital marketing teams, managing social media accounts, e-mail marketing campaigns, copywriting, devising engaging content strategies for international campaigns and getting to understand the heart of e-commerce and online publishing.

In November 2013, she left these roles to work at UCA on a part time basis as a Digital Media lecturer, offering an up-to-date account of what is happening within this fast developing and ever-changing area of the fashion industry.

Alongside her full-time roles, Charlotte was and continues to be the editor of fashion and lifestyle publication Betty magazine. Started at university, the independent magazine has gone on to be stocked in 15 countries worldwide and has amassed an online following of 30,000 followers. Publishing bi-annually in print and daily online, Betty is empowering and unifying women with a youthful state of mind and a nostalgic heart.
