Our halls of residence

Our halls are self-catering. Each bedroom has a bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a desk and a chair. Bring your own bits and bobs to make the place feel more homely.

Worple Road

  • On-campus location
  • Single-study en-suite bedrooms
  • Eight self contained flats, each with between five and eight study bedrooms, accommodating up to 58 students in total
  • Each flat houses up to eight people
  • One flat designed for disabled use.

 

Things to know

  • There are student wardens living on site, if you need help out-of-hours
  • All bedrooms and shared areas are heated
  • All residences have parking areas for bikes
  • There is parking for cars at Woodcote Side but you are not permitted to park on campus if you are living in halls
  • We’ll provide an ironing board, vacuum cleaner, broom, dustpan and brush, and mop and bucket in each flat
  • You’ll need to bring pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, tea towels, towels, sheets, pillow(s), and a duvet (and cover) or blankets
  • We operate a no-smoking policy in all our residences and buildings
  • Internet access is included in the residence fees.

Wilberforce Court

  • Next to campus
  • 12 self-contained flats, each with between four and seven study bedrooms
  • Accommodates up to 70 students in total
  • Shared facilities.

  • Less than half a mile from campus
  • Six flats, each with between three and seven study bedrooms
  • Accommodates up to 28 students in total
  • Shared facilities.

  • Newly refurbished accommodation which we expect to be able to offer from September 2016
  • Located a fifteen minute walk from the campus and near the Rainbow Leisure Centre
  • 100 purpose-built single en-suite bedrooms
  • Shared facilities.

  • All bedrooms and shared areas are heated
  • All residences have parking areas for bikes
  • We’ll provide an ironing board, vacuum cleaner, broom, dustpan and brush, and mop and bucket in each flat
  • You’ll need to bring pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, tea towels, towels, sheets, pillow(s), and a duvet (and cover) or blankets

Please note that accommodation is limited (215 rooms). We give priority to new students starting a full-time course, and whose home address is furthest away from the campus. Some rooms may become available during the year and we operate a waiting list for these.

If you’re not successful, or you choose not to go into halls, we can help you look for private accommodation.
