Maidstone TV Studios offers you the unique opportunity to study television production in the UK's largest independent TV studio facility. In this professional environment you’ll have the chance to work on high-profile TV shows and network with leading industry professionals.

We have a dedicated technical tutor on site as well as a dedicated work-placement coordinator who can help you with work-experience opportunities.

Maidstone is a vibrant town in Kent, just over 30 miles from London and about 25 miles from our Canterbury campus. Maidstone offers excellent shopping, museums and galleries, events throughout the year and stunning local countryside to explore.

If you love to eat out then Maidstone won’t disappoint you. And with a variety of pubs, bars and nightclubs, there’s always places to go when the sun goes down.

Academic facilities

At the Maidstone Studios you'll have exclusive access to an expansive learning and teaching space, including 25 Apple editing-suites, screening rooms, audition room, sound booth, kitchen, kit room and library. information

If you wish to stay at UCA halls in your first year you can apply to live in Canterbury and utilise our shuttle bus service to get to and from the Studios, see our Canterbury Accommodation page to look at options. 

UCA does not have halls in the Maidstone area so if you wish to live closer to the studios, you'll need to seek private accommodation for your course. Our accommodation team is more than happy to help you with this process, and you can find more information on our Private Accommodation page.

By rail

The nearest train station is Maidstone East (there are two train stations in Maidstone). Trains from London to Maidstone depart from London Victoria station and London Bridge station.
